Reporting found coins

We will determine the coin(s) you reported as soon as possible. When this is done we will send you the description of your coin(s).

DNB is tasked with maintaining the public information system NUMIS, a database in which finds of coins, medals and other numismatic objects in Dutch soil are registered and described.

If you report a find, DNB also processes your personal data. We need your name and email address to register your find and to provide you with the details once we have examined it. We also need details of the find location. We use such details in our research into circulation patterns. These details are publicly disclosed at the municipal granularity level.

We retain your personal data and find details for as long as we administer the public information system NUMIS. We will never offer you any unsolicited information or services.
