De Nieuwe Schatkamer at De Nederlandsche Bank will open in March 2025, and you are welcome to come for a visit. Find out everything you need to know to plan your visit and arrange for a tour here.

You can visit the exhibition independently using the audio tour, which is available in Dutch and English. Admission and the audio tour are free of charge.
You do not need to make reservations to visit De Nieuwe Schatkamer.

If you want to join a guided tour or event, you have to make a reservation. See below.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00.
Closed at weekends and on: 25 and 26 December, 1 January, King’s Day, Easter Monday, Ascension Day, Whit Monday.

The tour guide will take you through the exhibition. You will dive into the world of gold, money and the economy. You will go through the vault experience, play the games and learn more about the tasks of De Nederlandsche Bank. This tour lasts two hours.

To learn more about the special objects in the money collection, take a guided tour of our exhibition of more than 400 objects. Small and large, unique and mundane. Coins, paper money, medals and much more. The curator will tell you the hidden stories and point out the special details of each object. Want to join in? During this tour, you will learn more about the 40 artworks in the permanent art exhibition. The tour is offered once a month. Duration: two hours. Check the calendar for tour dates, choose a day and sign up.
De Nieuwe Schatkamer is an accessible facility. The exhibition space consists of three floors. Two of the rooms can be reached by a series of stairs. If you have difficulty using stairs, there is an alternative route without stairs through a special locked door. If you would like to use this route, please let us know about your visit in advance: denieuweschatkamer@dnb.nl. All texts have a clear font size and the games have audible signals. The toilets are wheelchair accessible.

De Nederlandsche Bank is easily accessible by public transport. Various tram lines stop in front of the building. Parking in the vicinity is difficult.
