Education
Learn all about the economy

From 24 to 28 November 2025, the 4th edition of the Week of Economics Education will take place.
This is the national week in which we celebrate economics education and look ahead to its future.
On Thursday, 27 November, the day for secondary education will take place at De Nieuwe Schatkamer of DNB.
Together with fellow teachers, you will explore the role of social values and community economics in economics education.
Join the conversation about economics education for young people to help build the society and economy of the future.
Economics is a social subject that revolves around making choices. These choices are not made solely based on theoretical models, but by weighing alternatives within a societal context. This requires you, as a teacher, to keep your lessons up to date with that context. During the national secondary education day, you will meet teachers of general economics, business economics, and entrepreneurship (vmbo, havo, vwo) to share experiences, learn, and gain new insights for your own teaching practice. You’ll leave with directly applicable ideas.
The Week of Economics Education is the national platform for education professionals committed to future-proof economics education.
This initiative is organized by Leren voor Morgen, Day for Change, Het Groene Brein, and Our New Economy, with support from the Goldschmeding Foundation.
